Meet Knadijah
Before social media was a career… it was my playground.
I got my first computer in 8th grade and immediately launched a YouTube channel in 2008. This was not for money, not for followers, but because I genuinely loved creating. I would dress my little sister up, direct full video productions from behind the camera, edit everything myself, and hit upload just for the joy of it.
This was before monetization. Before brand deals. Before being a “content creator” was even a title.
It was always passion first.
By high school, I had created over 20 YouTube channels and expanded onto Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Studying the platforms, testing content, learning algorithms, and staying consistent long before consistency was a buzzword. That’s when I realized something: I didn’t just love posting. I loved understanding how content connects people.
I went on to study business in college, and what started as helping friends and family with their social media quickly turned into something bigger. Everyone came to me for the same things. Video ideas, editing help, strategy, growth tips, algorithm advice.
That’s when it clicked.
This wasn’t just something I was good at. This was something I was built for. And that’s how Tailored Socials was born.
